Badminton

On Monday Room 6 went to badminton the last session of badminton we had. Our couch name was Mr Feist he was really good at playing badminton. Before we started the lesson we starched and played a warm up game. Then we started new skills. Here`s a picture of us playing badminton.

Cycle safety

On Tuesday Constable Val came and took us on obstacle course for cycle safety. We had to go around cones to do U turns that was really hard. The best obstacle was the ladder that was lying down flat we had to go really fast over it it was really bumpy. Going threw the cones was the easiest bit. Here's a picture me going threw the cones.

Food for Thought

Last week Room 6 went to New World to learn about eating healthy and how to read labels. When we arrived Nova the food nutritionist met us there. Before we went in to the shop we got given a worksheet each. On the sheets were breakfast cereals, bread, snack foods, milk, dairy products and drinks. We got split into groups and went down different aisles. My group went down the snack aisle first.We had to read the labels so we could complete the sheet. When everyone was finished down the aisles we went by the fruit and vegetables and we had to write down different colours of fruit and vegetables. After we finished all of the worksheets New World gave us a $50 voucher for a healthy lunch.

Bushy Park walk

On Sunday some people from Room Six and Room Five went on the Bushy Park walk. We went on the walk so we could practise for camp. Halfway around the walk we went past a big tree that was really cool to look at because it was really big. Here is a little picture of the tree.

Who am I?

Marae visit

On Thursday Rooms 4, 5, 6 and 15 went to Putiki Marae. It was really fun. We tasted fried bread and it was yum and we played a game. This photo is my favourite. I went inside and it was cool. by Shiloh
